The USDA Agricultural Research Service
National Sedimentation Laboratory was
established in Oxford, Mississippi, in 1958.
Initially, the work of the lab was focused on
advancing the principles of sediment
transport and deposition, but the mission
has continuously expanded to include a
wide range of research dealing with the
impacts of agriculture on soil and water.
Join us for this landmark symposium in
which we will assess the state of science
and the National Sedimentation
Laboratory's contributions. The meeting will
enable participants to chart a bold and
effective course for future work in the field.

"International Conference on Nonrenewable Ground Water Resources--Sociotechnological Aspects of Nonrenewable Ground Water Resources: Half-Empty, Hall-Full, Top-Down, Bottom-Up, and Some Paths Forward"
